Crypto Investment Scam & Blockchain Forensics
Tracing Tether (USDT), Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum across multi-hop transactions, mixers, and unhosted wallets to identify KYC-regulated exchange cash-out points.
βοΈ Blockchain Investigation Reality
Restitution Group is a private investigation agency. We NEVER guarantee the recovery of stolen cryptocurrency. Public blockchains are immutable and decentralized; transactions cannot be reversed or hacked by any investigator. Stolen crypto can only be recovered through lawful means: when an evidence dossier identifies a regulated exchange with KYC records, allowing courts or law enforcement to issue asset freezing orders.
Cryptocurrency Scams We Routinely Investigate
Cryptocurrency scammers exploit the irreversible nature of distributed ledgers. We investigate across the full spectrum of modern on-chain fraud.
"Pig Butchering" (Sha Zhu Pan)
Perpetrators spend months establishing friendship or romantic rapport before introducing a "guaranteed crypto liquidity pool" or "insider trading node." Victims are persuaded to move millions into fraudulent Web3 smart contracts that immediately transfer assets to scammer clusters.
Malicious Smart Contract Drainers
Victims connect their self-custody wallets (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger) to phishing dApps requesting an "unlimited ERC-20 / TRC-20 approval." The contract's malicious code silently drains all Tether (USDT/USDC) or ETH balances in automated batches.
Fake Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs)
Counterfeit replicas of Uniswap, PancakeSwap, or bespoke trading portals showing manufactured daily yields. When withdrawals are requested, the platform demands additional "blockchain gas verification deposits" or "tax validation fees."
Mixer & Bridge Laundering Schemes
Stolen funds are rapidly fragmented across bridges and mixing protocols (Tornado Cash, cross-chain bridges from Tron to Avalanche to Ethereum). We apply advanced demixing heuristics to track the funds as they re-emerge on the other side.
How On-Chain Forensics Empowers Legal Injunctions
β οΈ Warning: The "Hacker Recovery" Myth
Beware of individuals on social media, Telegram, or specialized websites claiming they can "hack the blockchain," "reverse Bitcoin transactions," or "force a decentralized wallet to refund your money."
This is technically impossible. Anyone making this claim is operating a secondary recovery scam aimed at extracting further funds from already distressed victims. Legitimate blockchain investigation produces evidence for courts and law enforcement, and never guarantees fund recovery.
